heat exchangers and hoses

not sure if the heat exchangers are supposed to be like this??

the exhaust manifold seems to be in the way of where the hoses should go to line up nice, I can probably get the hoses to fit but they would be touching the manifold.

pics not the best, but they just don't seem to be aligned right, is it the exchangers or manifold thats wrong?

it's the manifold - a 4into1 , they always have this issue

so change the manifold then? or is there a decent work round with what I've got?

The after-market 4 - 1 manifolds do away with a small pre-heating "juntion box" fitted to the stock manifolds that allow for a straighter connection. You'll find that with some jiggling about and a little squashing the pipes will fit. I have exactly the same issue and it all works fine once in place
