Going through the pre not checks and noticed my rhs indicator is flashing fast both front and rear, also on the same side rear lights are dimmer and when main lights are on and I press the brakes the lights go completely out on that side, I've checked and cleaned the bulbs and looked over the wiring, it appears that the rhs is getting 2 volts less than than the lhs.
Also how do the rear lights earth? I'm running U.S. lights on the rear it all red with single twin element bulb. The van is a 1968 USA import. Lights were all working fine.
Any help as mot at 2 :)
Thank you

Don't the side markers have bulbs in them too? Worth a check, methinks!

I believe the rear light clusters earth from the unit to the body just below. Should be the same on each side.

P.S. Good luck with the test!

sounds like an earth issue - high resistance. there should be a brown wire iirc leading to a point on the frame around the engine bay (well there is on mine)
