First of all I would never lend my bus to a none VW owner. A very good mate who has owned vans and knows
I've got to say I think your mate has been quite disrespectful :(

he's not a Kombidriver & hindsight is wonderful, I let him drive it, made sure everything was ok.

fraught with the problems that arose, he's been a wee bit naughty but not intentionally. He has offered to pay for what's missing & repairs of the bunk canvas etc.

next year, he's sleeping in a tent :D

That is a real shame, it is a good thing to do and could have resulted in a new member to the scene.......but doesn't always work that way.

I have lent buses out in the past and I have never had any problems but the only time I let people drive my bus now is if friends or people I trust are looking to lower, narrow etc and they want to see how they drive.

I hope your "friend" reimburses any loses, not much of a mate if he doesn't.

I would only trust 1 mate with mine and thats Grazy cos he has a bus :D
