Had a late bus clank it's way into Nick's yard a few months ago. Supposedly "new" engine that had already been returned once, due to a piston pick up after about 800 miles previous to this as the the circlip on the gudgeon pin wasn't fitted correctly.
The replacement engine only turned up this week. :roll:

Absolutely fucked, would you build another with this case?
It was bought from an well known engine supplier/refurbisher.
The replacement for this one was purchased from another well known supplier back in October, but only turned up this week.

"Professionally rebuilt" stock engine.

She was driving to the garage because it was making a clanking noise and was very difficult to change gear.
