This is probably a silly question, but how much cellulose paint will I need to spray my van?

I'm totally new to resprays etc and didn't want to end up with way too much or worse, not enough. My van is going to be Lotus White all over as it was originally.

Also does any one Know of any good suppiers around ?

Thanks

:? :? :?

to be honest it depends on how many coats you want to put on the vehicle, but 5l is usually more than enough as when its mized 50/50 with the celly you have 10l :)

i did a bay couple of years back with 2.5l [5in total] but only got two coats on, which isnt really enough if you want a nice deep shine.

http://www.jawel.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; not to bad and very quick on delivery, theres a few good ones on ebay too

If you are new to resprays, then use 2pac. it is a better paint, & will last much longer.

You can hire a spray booth for a day, you will thank yourself in the end when you have to look at your bus every day for years to come.

Thanks for the help. I think I will carry on along the celly road, just because of the amount of warnings regarding the use of 2 pack. Thanks for the link pinheadduk it certainly has given me a place to look at.

All being well everything should work out ok with my respray. I will get some pics up on the gallery when it's done.

Doris, do you have any pics of your Dormy on the site as I would be interested to see how a Dormy looks in Lotus White. Mine has been so many different colours, and I would like some idea how she's going look once again.

Thanks again for your help.
