Got some bits done over the last couple of weeks. Now off for a few days so time to get cracking.

Update on door....Wire wheeled, Vactan'd and then give a quick blast of Light Beige for now, just to keep it tidy and waterproof. I also sprayed the box section with rust converter and dynax.....

I also drilled some drain holes in as the old ones were cut off by looks of it. Although water does escale as weld isn't watertight....

I cleaned up the door mechs/locks a bit. This one had 40 years of muck in it.....

Looking better!

Although the sink wasn't....

I couldn't get the carpet glue of the rear shelf, so ended up bare metalling it. A fair bit of pitting and the odd pin hole in the wheel well. Phosphated the shelf ready to paint, and Vactan'd the wheel well. - Not going to fill the pitting etc, just some eposy primer over the whole back shelf and wheel well.

Next to wire wheel the cargo floor in full and then get the rot around the seat mount plates cut out and replaced. Going to paint what I can for now, and then get someone to do the welding work as I now don't have time to teach myself and get it done in 2 1/2 weeks before I load up for Glasto.

On a brighter note I finally finished all the gelcoat and fitted the replacement roof vent, and then fine sanded and waxed the pop-top. It's two colours now, but its watertight and all the crazing is gone!
