ignition switch barrel

Does any one know how to get the old one out
have taken out all the screws .the chrome ring around the key slot
seems to stop the whole unit coming out from the casing
any ideas

You have to remove the indicator switch, horn, steering wheel, 4 bolts under the steering lock housing and then lift up and off the steering column tube. Hope this helps, it's a bit more involved than just taking off the steering lock.

had same issue with ignition switch and barrell.
once i had right gauge of steel to release spring 'twas a doddle thanks to the friendly guys on here.
