Importing an air-cooled

I hope you wonderful people can help. I assume some of you have imported your VWs from abroard, can anyone point me to some usefull web sites that could help me.

A year ago, whilst on holiday in Poland, i purchased a Fiat 126. Its an awesome car with only 2000 miles on the clock. It only cost me £100 and its mint. Now its sitting at my uncles farm.

I really want to bring it over here and use it legally. I may drive it over and make a holiday of it, or i may stick it in the back of a sprinter and carry it over...anyway for now i need to research how to make it legal for uor roads.

Try DVLA web site all the info should be there regarding importation tax and registration, its not too much of a headache...

Why not just stick it in your pocket and risk it through customs...?

Shouldn't be too difficult I wouldn't have thought seeing as it's coming from within the EU.
