Is the one off a 71 the same as one off a 72/73?

Hi there
Apparently the switch in a 72 is the same as a 67 to 71 however i bought a identical looking switch to the one in my 71 cal import westy - It even had the same part number! But when i pulled the wiring out the dash my new (NOS) switch had only five wires wheras the one fitted has eight of the bloody things. So i put the shiny new switch surround in my van but i've got a NOS 5 wire early bay indicator switch with an old surround sat in the garage gathering dust.
Looked on the street style and power web site earlier and they've got early bay indicator switches back in but theyre about £130 a shot!!

Yeah the repro ones.
They don't have any at the moment though anywhere in the country!
Managed to sort mine though but they are hard to get hold of at the mo :wink:
