Hi guys,
i fitted my propex heater into the sotck system hoping to get windcreen heat when driving. however, i've got two problems: barely any heat, and barely any flow.
1st - i dont have any insulation on my central heater tube that travels the length of the van. I was just wondering what people have used to insulate their central heater tubes as not to lose too much heat. obviously when driving the air under the bus is going to cool the heater pipe down tremendously without insulation - so is the water spray when wet
2nd - I have plumbed my propex 2000 into the stock heater system. i have piped it into one of the rear kick panel inlets and capped off the other as well as the Y pipe that the heat exchangers usually connects to. The thought was that i could get heat from the walkthrough and also up at the angel of the north and windscreen. However, there doesnt seem to be any pressure at all i have to check for leaks, but was surprised of the lack of flow. i appreciate you lose pressure over distance, but was seriously surprised how little flow i was getting. i could barely feel anything
