cheers for looking guys! hope to meet you all at most of the shows this season, Jon

Very nice ride 8)

The stance the bus has looks about spot on too

Welcome and enjoy (looking forward to more pics as you make the changes) ;)

OMG Im very very jealous!!!

That looks awesome, everything about it is spot on!

thanks for all the positive comments guys!
i've just dropped it off to my friend (james wooton) at Veedubs in Welling for....
front shocks
welding(small patch in cab floor, screen lip, front valance and drivers inner step)
new screen
re-wire of lighting loom
fitment of extra gauges
idler pin
and a good service/adjustment/check over of everything else

just to throw the cat amongst the pigeons i'm 90% sure i'm gonna fit another sprintstar to the front panel (i have 2 spare, the fronts fucked anyway, and if i dont like it its only another 4 holes  ) i know it seems to be a bit of a no-no but hey-ho

Loxy... not sure, they have 36 on them and i'm told the're Dellortos

cheers Jon

They look like DRLAs, think baby dells are called 32 or 34 FRDs and are only single barrel like a weber 34ICT, the ones you have appear to be twin barrel and should therefore be able to be tuned more accurately (in theory at least!!)

Loxy... i'd say the're DRLAs then cos the're much bigger than the ICTs i had on my bug ;)
it should be running sweet as by wednesday when i get it back from Jim. if he can run 9's in the OFF he can sure as hell get my 1600 running nice  ( it actually ran very nice straight from the docks but i still want him to check it over) just gotta keep saying NO when he mentions turbos etc

Having toyed with my DRLAs a bit, I'm getting a hankering for EFI and a turbo....
Best add it to my ever increasing list

Lovely van, sits just right too. Rolled of the production line August 25th '67 you say?
Exactly the same day as the Speedmaster bus
How would I know? Tim Glover told me back when he owned it.
The reason I remember? Those busses and me share a birthday! 8) OK, I am two years older than them, but we won't mention that. Or the fact they are in vastly better shape than me......

Nice Panel, welcome to the PVP
