Late bay gearbox?

Can anyone tell me if its possible to fit a late bay gearbox in an early bay?

yep it is, think graham from midland early bay was sorting sum adapters if i remember, however i am normally wrong.

yes it will fit ,ignore the moobs on the top of the bell housing as they will clear.just need to change fixings for front mounting.if the box is of a type4 engine you will have to shorten the input shaft

I have a late 2.0L and it was a pain to fit and the casting is slightly different, got there in the end but not straightforward, just bear it in mind if you get one.
