Hi All you Gurus!

On my old T25 I fitted a simple buzzer from Maplins that sounded if the lights were left on when the engine was turned off. Can this be done on a Bay?

Many thanks

Simon

Yeah quite easy ...

You just need a 12v relay with a normally closed auxillary ..

Wire the feed through the relay through an ignition live and the buzzer via the live side of the light circuit through ...

So when your ignition is on the buzzer circuit is broken by the relay and buzzer won't sound, but kill the ignition and leave the lights on and the live circuit will energise the buzzer and sound it ..

Most motor factors sell a lights on alarm, from memory the one I fitted had two wires. one to the switched side of the lights and the other to the door plunger which makes earth. £5 well spent.
