location of the stamped VIN on a 68 double cab pick up?

Hello,
Can't find the location of the stamped VI Number on the chassis of my 68 pickup (it's not on the left edge of the engine bay as it is the case on my 72 9seater: the rear valance is removable on this one)
Any clue?

Is it behind the passenger seat?

On splits its also stamped into the sheet metal by the battery and I've not looked on the bay but it might have followed through?

Behind the passenger you can find the riveted plaque but not the cold stamping of the number.
I will check in the battery tray area , thank's folks
