nearly caught me out with its teasing rimage and tyre package (merc 16 inch spares with 165 40 16 tyres) till i spotted its heritage :shock: . probably the nicest learly bay ive seen do far :lol: or is it more of a latey bay?

OK really sorry but what am I looking for here?
I understand the lights and indicators are different, then there is the wrap around bumpers. But what else are you looking at that indicates it's not an early?

I think it's the T registration and the bumper ridge below the front indicators. Looks cool tho :msn4:

Rear vents are Square ish so indicate its a post 71 model there is also different front arches and there is a few give aways on the tailgate . engine lid

Seems its a nearly bay to me. That front panel looks so wrong.

Here's another couple:

- fuel filler cap
- early non-flared rear arches

fuel cap is the dead giveaway, 71s also had the flared arches they have gone to the trouble of replacing with earlier on this one, deformation panel above the front bumper has the late ridge and the vents are square.

They've also added early rear lights.
