Nice looking bus. What are your plans for the interior?

Welcome to the forum. :)

Yeah blank was the plan, also helps with checking over for nasties!

Being of the fuller figure full width RnR bed is going in, then some simple cabinets for storage more than anything.
We don't wana cook in side the bus planning on an awning as a kitchen.

First job tho, is to get shot of the carp home made fibre glass roof, for the Dormobile roof that we got with the bus! :D

It's just come back from the painters & is just waiting for the glass seals to arrive...

looks like sunny barwell from the water tower, sad i know. have we seen you down hubbadubba club, the milestone pub, (next meet 1st july,) if you have not been down why not we don't bite well not everyone. 8pm onwards

nice bus by the way.

For those interested, the classics an Austin A35.
VW's are a passion, A35's more of an obsession!
We have 3 little A35's, there's one wrapped in a brown tarp in one of he photos too!
Bought an A35 as my first car at 20 & still have it!
The one under the Dorma roof is currently a weldathon with Flintstones floor!

The bus was something we always looked on in envy when ever we saw one!
Now that's no longer a problem :D

One more engine shot
1600, nothing fancy just tidy

Hey AJ,
Yep it's hard to hide the tower ain't it!
No not been down in Baz yet, but we are planning on coming down.
Just gets a little tricky with work, as I don't get back till 6.30 most nights.
What time does it go on to normally?
I could do with some local knowledge on the VW front...

Looks like we'll be there chap.
The wife's been chatting about the club with Beth & she's on board too!
Think we'll leave the hounds at home this time tho!

Started my first jobs on Baz today.
Namely clean up & paint the cargo floor before boarding it over.
Thought I'd start with the top of the engine bay (because its easier to get to!)
I've decided to use this...

So after a trial patch,

I liked it so cleaned up the rest and carried on.

Took a break for a magnum (Almond!)
null-23.jpg

Then painted in the rest of the cargo floor.
(Photos to follow, as it was gettin dark)
Started the build of the rock n roll bed.

& removed the shitty temporary fibre glass roof, & trial fitted the Dorma roof cap!

Roof cap needs a trim but the paint is a pretty good match...

Hey welcome to the world of "Early Bay" it's great on here..

Your van looks great and looking forward to seeing how your interior comes along. Good to see the Dormobile roof painted too. That's one of my jobs to do after I have got my new engine fitted.

It's also great to have a fellow "Baby Austin" owner on here. I've had my A30 for the past 12 years and an A35 before that for 10 years. I love them and they are certainly different to drive compared to a VW!

Here's mine.... :D
