Mplate decoder

Have downloaded my Mplate as my signature and it comes up with 1972 but my bus was first registered on the 24/06/71 according to the log book?All other information is correct on the Mplate decoder.Can this be a mistake by Mplate or do i have a dodgy log book?All relevant numbers match up on the log book..

I think the 2 at the beginning of the chassis number means it is a 72 model.
The 22 1 means it was made on day one of the 22nd week in 1972 which would be sometime in May 72??

Is it a crossover?

Odd, the 21 at the beginning of your chassis number mean its a type 2 and 1 is a panel van, the next 1 means its a 71 MY bus so I'm not sure what its come up with 72 as your model year as it appears to be a 71.
