Looking good.

Barring any problems I may get ahead of you then Shaun.
I was going for made up oil lines, but Jason at Interpro supplied me with a bag of push-on oil pipe and fittings they use on the stuff he builds.

Told ya you would

What's the oil lines like? Push on? Are they like barbed ends and jubilee's? I'm a bit paranoid about the lines blowing off and dumping the oil, proberbly going over the top having pro crimped lines made

Been a slow week of progress :? Went to have a look at running some 7core cable for my gauges front to back nipped to the local caravan shop and they want £3.99 a meter  stuff that, ordered 10m off the web delivered for £10.50 so waiting for that

Then on to the oil system fitted the remote filter under the n/s battery tray, then spent a couple of hours offering up the cooler to try and find a place I'm happy with for it to be placed, as I've got full belly pans I'm struggling for a gap big enough :?

The only place is like jonboy's

But I'm a paranoid Pete and it hangs slightly lower than the belly pan and is in prime position for a whack :( so up for suggestions on that one...... Once it's fitted I can get the oil lines made ....

Aspro is back from oz next week so I can get my tacho sorted, so looks like all the bits are gunna come together at once ...... I hope

Shaun

Maybe a bit more trouble but an idea for you... Remove centre belly pan and mount cooler. Then cut belly pan where the cooler is. Don't cut a hole, only cut 3 sides and form to make a scoop. Make up and weld some sides on happy days, wouldn't have to be that big to get air flow. Bit of work, but an option..

Cheers for the idea 8) didn't fancy having to remove the belly pan to fit the cooler, managed to sort it so it sits above out of harms way,

Going to sort a guard to protect it too, been looking at the mesh guards trials bikes have on their coolers for ideas :D
At the moment haven't connected it until I have sourced a suitable thermostat to control it

So managed to get the oil lines made up for the remote filter

Started to fit, but will finish off properly, and clip them so they're out of harms way another day, as I busy with work now til the weekend :?
