Thanks for the comments guys, I so far have about half of a campmobile interior to go in, which is pretty tatty but a work in progress, my one major problem with it was i snapped the accelerator cable the day i got it and trying to find one he right length has been a nightmare, hopefully my forth cable should arrive today so i can see if this one is long enough

Well just got back from a 750 mile surf trip to cornwall, other than bugjam it was my first camping trip, The bus was awesome, got 30 miles to the gallon, cruised on the motorway at 65 - 70.

Got good weather, pretty good waves and in the good weather the sunroof was fantastic

having so much fun i forgot to get many pictures, but here are a couple

I decided that i wanted to put a westy interior in the bus, so i managed to get some Campmobile bits together.

The headliner in the bus was grey cloth which had seen better days so i decided to go with a ply headliner, First up thanks to Grazy for making and selling me the patterns they fit perfectly and i can whole heartedly recommend them so thanks Grazy :D

next i ripped out all the old interior, and made some ply door cards, i used 3.6mm birch ply for these and gave them a couple of coats of Yacht varnish

ended up with this

next was to tackle the headliner, i used 1.5mm birch ply again coated with yacht varnish

Big big thanks to Egotrippin for his help with this bit and answering various PMs from some bloke he had never really met and gave some really good advice, and made my life easier by finding where to buy all the trim

after much struggling and teddy throwing i ended up with this, not the best pictures but you get the idea

Dont seem to have any cab headliner shots i must find some

there is a few bits to tidy up but it is getting there, next step is to get my westy interior in, still looking for a few pieces to complete it but i will get the bits i have in

and i have to say most thanks of all goes to gadget for all his help and words of advice and motivational speeches, such as " Get on with it and stop ******* moaning" i would never have got it done without his help so big thanks dude !! 8)
