Not sure about the photograph but it could be a 'Altitude corrector' - if so page 17 fuel system bentley manual

That's a USA bus smog control part . I have a bunch in my shed. We take the off unless going for a pure resto. Thing it's called a switchover valve but not sure. It works in conjunction with another USA smog part called a throttle positioner. Which is mounted on the carb. California loves these!

The charcoal canister hookups are best sourced from a samba.com search. Just set one up on my 71 .

I've got one,but is only piped from the filler neck into the canister,I believe it goes to the pipe connector on the engine oil filler,but not sure on the pipe length and route.Retroman said:
