Brother in law just bought this! Bit of drama with paperwork as it turns out to be a 68. Should be a nice project.....

There will be some, I'll be starting a gallery thread but thats all I have for now. Just trying to decode the M plate and getting some strangeness. Keeps saying model unknown  it's an august 30th van and a vin decoder says double cab so I'm not sure whats up with it

It's been a long day so tiredness was stopping me reading things right, M-plate:

Bit confused by the ambulance bit  any clues on what that means?

Hi, we are the new owners of this cool twin cab. Very much guided by my very knowledgeable brother In law and father in law as I am a huge fan but haven't got a clue what I'm looking at.
Reconned engine already sat waiting for it, can't wait to get it all sorted and take the kids for their first ride.

Very nice 8) . Welcome to the gang, had my eye on that too, if only had space/ time / funds etc
Luckily you have your own inhouse expert too ;)
Look forward too the updates

Going to get it on the road ASAP, brother in law is tasked with finding all the required bits with him and the father in law fitting them. I think a few beers will be owed by the end of it all! Already got indicator stalk and 4 powder coated wheels with decent tyres and a few bits off his when his resto is finished.
See what money we have left then and what plans we come up with.

Still can't stop smiling!!
Polished a door today and it came up pretty well :)

Love a crew cab 8)

Are you MOT'ing and getting on the road or full resto? Either way, good luck

Ross

There is a bit of welding to do: battery tray, cab floors and a couple of other bits. After that we'll be trying to get it on the road ASAP so Johnny can get some use out of it.

Eventually I think they would like a full resto on it but that will have to wait until funds allow.

I'm looking forward to getting stuck into it but I need to get it finished before my bus comes back from it's resto as I'll have to get ours ready for our wedding in August. Going to be a busy few months!

Crewie for the win!!!!! If the wife ever lets me have another then it'd be a crewie or a panel :msn4:
