Well i did make it to the show ground only to wish i hadnt to be honest and im ever so slightly worse off for driving the 400plus miles to get to the place.

I'm with you on this one. We decided to pull camp tonight at around 5.30. We were in the top area of home is where you park is, and looking at the lying water and deep ruts appearing we had genuine concern of getting out without a lot of potential grief. I was looking forward to show and shine, but walking round the show ground was not much fun.

Real shame, one of the shows I look forward to

Was also in the top Home is where you park it area. Decided today to make a brake while conditions where still sort of managable. Watched the T4/5 boys using the "power" to get in to the site on Friday and when they mash it up on Sunday it will be a big problem.
Was it only me that noticed it seems to be the waterpumpers that dont seem to handel the mud very well....is this a car or driver fault.

I was definitly up for the Show and Shine but was told it would be very limited as most of the area put to one side for it had to be used for traders and thats now a mud bath like the rest. DE said possibly only 30 cars.................

Yep, sat here in Famiky camping (didn't want to risk the EarlyBay mudfest) really wishing I hadn't bothered.

In the grand scheme of things it's not important, especially when people are losing their homes & livelihoods, hope everyone is safe, we were only about 5 miles from Boscastle when that happened, I remember the devastation then.

They've not got a chance with their low profile fat tyres and front wheel drive, I've driven one to Inverness for someone once and was shocked at how badly it drove with the big bling alloys. It aquaplaned several imes aswell!!!!

we were at the top of the hill Home is where you park it shocked i made it round and a cross the field friday night, (think the fact my mate was in a landrover behind gave me the little bit of i will try) Saturday other than the mud bath, and lack of stalls being open we had a great time, the misses got a bit sun burnt.

we left and had not trouble with the mud. and proud to say the landrover had the break down, of the weekend on the way in flat tyre.

We are looking forward to next year. and hopefully it will be dry.

Really impressed with the efforts of the organisers to make the most of the weekend and not cancel as so many shows have had to do. The mud and the shortage of traders was made up for by evening entertainment and some good beer!
No trouble driving out on Sunday afternoon that was made a little easier by the sunshine in the morning drying things up a little.
