No sound

First things first...................



Merry Christmas people,hope Santa brings you lots of shiny new parts,i've not been that good this year so i might have SHIT THE BED!!!

Anyway.


Not aircooled i know but my question is i have and Audi A3 2008 Sportback i believe is an 8P model.
I have sound in the front speakers but nothing in any of the rear speakers.
I fiddled with the settings but could not see any obvious instructions or switches to press,not sure if the kids have messed with the settings.
Anyone got an idea what is wrong and hoe to fix it??
It is the stock radio fitted from the factory.

Presume you've found the front rear balance/ fade control?, sounds like that has been played with.

Have been in the menu and i can not see what has been/needs to be adjusted.
The owners manual sheds no light either.

I remember a similar thing on a VAG car. The CanBus coding had become corrupted & it would not recognise the stereo fader.

You need someone with a VCDS (Ross Tech) & the knowledge of how to recode your CanBus.

Try the Audi Sport forum as they have a VCDS search section.
