Hello,

Can anybody recommend a cool family friendly campsite in North Wales (near coast). Most of the ones I've found so far seem to be full of the old school caravan crew - looking for something a bit more campervan than caravan.

Hope you can help.

Thanks

This is a pretty nice place.

Stayed at this one many times over the years, tent, trailer tent, touring caravan, but not the campervan yet.

Home.. And Moelfre is best village on Mona except for the massive crame and what looks like an oil rig there at the moment.... New lifeboat station being built as the new lifeboat did not fit in old station.. Ooops.

Me and the mrs have just come back from a week in the haven greenachers site just outside Porthmadog.
Literally next to black rock sands.
We had electric hookup, drainage and water supply and the amenities wear very nice and clean.
Very campervan friendly, the site manager kept stopping for a chat about our van.:)

Second thumbs up for black rock sands as it is a 10metre walk over dunes to beach.

We often go to http://www.tyn-y-mur.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, not close to beach but great views and cool town only 5 min drive away.
