oil problems

Hi AGAIN iv noticed after my trip down to devon there is like an oil residue and oil spots covering the whole of the back of our van does any one no why this is

If you are sure its oil then have a look under the engine. It's possible there is a minor leak and turbulence is throwing it up onto the rear as you drive.

HAve you overfilled the oil, sometimes it spits it out the exhaust when too much I think.

my old van had that same symptom, then it dropped a valve..

Traced it down (eventually )to a hole in one of the push rod tubes

Are you running straight 30 oil or multi flavour ? Is your motor vented ?

If your sure thats where its coming from then yes unfortunately.

Best to double check though - by thoroughly cleaning the underside and taking a short test drive - to check exactly where it's leaking from.
