hypereuthetic....

Not a word I knew, but it's on here and it's on Wikipedia so must be true. All to do with the quantity of silicon that limits thermal expansion. Every day a learning day!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yep, they do not expand as much allowing for tighter cylinder wall to piston clearances thus making more power and are harder than normal cast pistons therefore surviving more abuse, but not great with detonation because of being harder makes them more brittle. That’s why correct timing and mixture is so important😊

I’ve been running a 2110 for years and done 1000’s of miles without issue and I drive it hard. Only time i took it to bits was to upgrade it and make more power.

Cheap, reliable and fast. You can only pick 2

And wich case you use? and heads?
consumption is heavy? wich gearbox?
Have some pictures? :) thanks

Genuine Volkswagen AS41 magnesium case, it’s been shuffle pinned and machine for full flow with the void behind cylinder no:3 filled in with weld and the hoover mods done to the oil system.

Heads are CB Performance CNC ported Ultra-mag 044’s with 42x37.5mm stainless steel valves, dual valve springs titanium retainers, chromoly collets and 62cc chambers.

Gearbox is a 091 ‘6 rib’ from a 2 litre late bay, Weddle heavy duty gear sets with a longer 3rd & 4th which are upgraded to course tooth gears. Also has a super diff and heavy duty clutch arm assembly.

Fuel consumption is about 25-26mpg on a run although it drinks fuel at a horrendous rate if you drive like a thug.

They are CNC ported but have been touched up by hand to get rid of the CNC angles and smooth out the curve in the intake and exhaust ports
