a running project that will be more and more complete and customized to what i want i thought the Crew Cab was a perfect secong choice....

Share it with us....
Loool

Peter

Actually it turned up in a smaal danish island called Bornholm.
Originally imported by the guy from the somewhat larger swedish island Gotland.
Good thing is they use roadsalt over there in the wintertime.
So hopefully it will arrive here in Copenhagen where i am based pretty soon.
Its a real bargain at 500 pounds as is and the freight is as follows .... the ferry company tows it onboard and they tow it of in the habour in Køge town.
There i'll pick it up on our Keller Renner Auto-hauler, a Madza B2200 with electric winch and ramps
a bit cool to have that as well
Price for the ferry is 100.- sp cant really complain.
Plans are a eaither a new frontbeam and or perhaps just dropped spindles from ISP West.
Just bought adapters on Ebay from 5x112 to 5x130 so it will either be fuch'sed out or on Teledials.
Engine wise i have a longblock 1776 standing that are due to have the big engineoverhaulin'... got a set of 36 IDF and 40 IDF for it to choose from.
The rig will be cut down to be level with the roof.
Again like on my bus a type 1 gearbox with thing 181 gearbox flanges and a homemade adapters kit for at better drive.
New drums on the rear and new discs on the front with 5x130 from CSP so that i can have tele's or fuchs it.

Keller Renner Theme on the doors ...
No porsche logos though. already done that

Finaly got round to get my Crew Cab home before the winter starts so i can get on with it
Took a bit of a struggle to get it up with a winch thats broken and the hand winch snapped 50cm from being there .
Fortunately the bus stayed in placed long enough for me to strap it and wheel it up the last bit.
Now we are on the ferry going home...

In Short...... The Sharkster is born!
More will come but initial plan still as i planned it

Fuchsed out , slammed , bigger engine and type 1 gearbox.
Gonna be cool and nice and oh yeah ...
More will follow on the sharkster theme as i get my thought on a trip trough photoshop..!

Let the games begin !!!

Very nice looking project you appeared to have found 8)
(Do love CC's)

Looking forward to this project unfolding - keep us posted

just got it washed a bit today and draged it in ...
Left rear wheel is totally stuck so there's a bit to do ..
But just for fun sunday is check brakes and wheels, get the engine running and hopefully getting the steering fixed.
Rusted off the beam so have to get that sorted out just enough to get it so it can be moved around.
Doing beams for both the bu and the crew during winter so hasnt have to hold for road use.

And received my last 7" Fuchs today ...
so 7" x 15 rear , 6" x 15 front ...

I'll get more pics up on sunday when i start working on it.

have three days on the road touring ....sob.me wants to play with the cab

Being on tour presently doesnt help on gettingn my crew cab anywhere near started but at least i had 20 mins the other evening
to just have a bit of fun with my fuchs'..
Getting 7" on the back so have to alter the rear hubs to 5x130.
Front is worse. having 6" on so need Wagens West drop spindles for drums , i have the template to make the caliber bracket
Calibers are on the table so just need to get hold of the right hubs and a set of discs. should be incoming though, Nice to have the right friends.

Just a few pics from the fun-20-mins--:)
