I have a sun canopy from either the late sixties or early 70's my wifes mum cant remember when she got it but its at least 35 years old.
Its 6ft x 2ft, dark blue with a white fringe (the sort you get on bedspreads from this era!) Its never been used and is in perfect condition.
One side fits into the gutter the the front has a support pole with a leg at each end, but rather than the poles sitting in the ground they are L shaped with rubber feet about 2ft long and would sit back against the bus.

It would look great on a period bus when we do eventualy get some sun!!
