I think they'd be too big for you, but Johnny found a guy that can make up wheel caps for you...

Let me know how you get on...

;)

Hey J&M,

Cheers for the info - but as you say, not right our NSU Fuch's (inner centres are 64mm).

However the caps for your cookies, use a different way of fitting to the wheels, to that used by the early Fuch's I had fitted to my bug (many moons ago). So perhaps an early Fuch cap will fit? Think the cap had three spring like prongs rather than a circular clip.

Note: I tried the other link, but looks as if they only make the centre stickers - not the caps :(

Ta,

Mike

FYI:

Tried an early Fuch centre cap (the three pronged fitting) on our NSU Fuch and they fit a treat - although the early Fuch cap is about 1.5mm larger (diameter) than the centre hole on the NSU Fuch so it sticks out a bit.

Gonna borrow one of the caps and go see our local engineering company. I reckon they'll be able to turn some flat discs out (to which we can fit the prongs), and then put some Wolfsburg crests on them :)

Cheers,

Mike

Had a day off last week (youngest daughter's first birthday) - and "cunningly manufactured" a trip to the local engineering shop (armed with one of my NSU fuch's and an early fuch centre cap borrowed from a friend).

The good news is that they could make a cap (from aluminium) similar in profile to the early fuch (i.e. slightly domed). The cap would locate onto the wheel via it's inner sleeve and then be secured by turning a few grub screws (past the inner lip of the wheel).

The other news (bad?) is that each cap would probably cost £25 each. Does this sound an expensive solution to a somewhat straightforward problem?

Thanks,

Mike
PS: I did try Jasmine Motorsport but they never had any suitable caps. I've also tried Porsche breakers/dismantlers, and googling for every wheel supplier this side of the universe :)
