Hey again,

How big of a job is the rear gear shaft bush, i know its engine out but is it a nightmare trying to get the old one off?

also picked up a little white plastic bush for the front but cant figure out where it goes?

cheers

Hi!

Is that the square ish shaped thing with the bolt through it? I didn't think the engine needs to come out - as least that's what i hope, mine could do with changing, i have the bit, not got around to fitting as usual. The replacement urethane bushes are ok, but the metal cage isn't, so try and fit the new bush in the og cage, IIRC.

Sure someone will come along soon and confirm my thoughts!

Cheers!

Alistair

aogrady is right, the cage type rear bush right by the gearbox does not require the gearbox or engine to be removed to replace it :)

All sorted now, thanks for the advice. It was the rear cage type bush, the bracket had snapped.

gears feel a so much better.

thanks again
