Im not going to post many pics here, as my bus is a '75.
I will probably do something over VZI if i find the motivation :)

This is my first VW. 1975 microbus with factory windows, been stored since 89.

I know its a late one, but it was stupidly cheap and rot free.
It also matches my BMX!

After waiting for nearly 2 weeks for ssp to deliver my shiny exhaust, i fitted it last monday...... At last! i can drive it, or can i?

Perhaps im a pussy? but i dont fancy driving it, when both carbs piss out fuel when running!

So next jobs invovle carb inspection/rebuild, lowering, interior re-fit & to loose the hubcaps.

Nice looking unit, the BMX match would make it a must buy to me too. It's been a while since I've seen such a straight stock bus as well. Nothing like a blank canvas just waiting to be worked on.
I would hold off driving it with the carby leaking problem. Flames are much nicer painted on the front, not pouring out the back eh?

oh dear!
Scary thing is, photos of vans on fire are all too common!

I have started a trhead over on VZI. Feel free to comment

Just checked out your VZI thread - it doesn't look too bad to me! - your seat covers and door panels look great!
I'm sure you'll be on the road in no time at all - and then it'll all be worth it!

;)
