So, show season has started and I left for VolksWorld on Friday.
All was well until I reached the M25.

Eventually reached Sandown Park and parked up in the trader's area for Friday night.

Plenty of supplies this year.

Saturday lineup

Sunday lineup, had to do a bit of car park trawling to get some buses to fill the empty spaces. It worked though, ended up with 13. :)

I've having a few issues with my rear light units for a while, and after almost having a couple of motorway incidents coming home from Ninove, I pulled my finger out and bought a pair of the Hella style rear light clusters sold by C&C.
Binned the ****** repro bits and fitted them tonight.
I think they did the trick.

I did notice a fair bit of my engine bay loom is looking it's age, might have to replace this at some point. No rush though. :|

I love this thread, always come back to it for inspiration.

... wtf have you got HIDs in the back or suttin?

No, just stock 21W lamps. The new rear light units are mint.

I fitted some of those light units a few years ago, makes a massive difference!

So, the bus has taken a bit of a back seat after the squareback acquisition, and it's time it had a bit of tlc.
But the driver's door hasn't progressed much other than the fitment of a lower hinge.
That'll be the first time in about 6 years I can open the door without it almost falling off....
Needs a bit of a clean up and some paint applying, but you get the picture.

The "new" door hasn't been fitted due to issues with the paint and a repair that wasn't to my liking. So the da sander was taken to it and it will reappear in a further post.

Changed all the fuel lines in the engine bay yet again, due to a bit of a fuel smell and an issue with the nearside carb connection spraying all over the engine on a Saturday morning. Replaced them with some Gates ethanol proof fuel hose, so hopefully they'll last a while longer. The 5/16" is fine as an 8mm replacement, but the 1/4" is too large for the 5.6mm lines.

Also had a bit of an annoying rattle from the engine bay recently, couldn't locate it until I knocked the o/s air filter.

A bit of JB Weld to the rescue and it's all back together.

Got a small oil weep from the rocker covers, but that can wait until after the early bay camp out.

Took a trip to the Cotswolds for the early bay campout this weekend. And I wasn't the first to arrive either.

All set up and the bar open. Gin on ice Archer. ;)

A few other people turned up on Saturday.

And some tunes from the STFU crew, Karle and Duncan.

A great evening was had by all.

Sunday dawned bright and sunny ready for the lineup.

65 early bays in total, and not two the same.
Brilliant weekend, thanks to Graham and Jenni for organising it again this year.
