Bis is looking sweet on the lift!
Fingers crossed it passes!
Love your fuel filter/separator what’s that from? I always thought of installing one with a glass bowl between the pump and carb to see if the pump is working rather than taking off the hose off the carb which is soo tight…

It's a Malpassi fuel filter and regulator, they're motorsport approved.
Oh, it passed OK after a little welding, cv boots and a high beam relay repair.
But.....

@Moseley I've found the source of the oil leak, there's crack from the blank just above the oil pressure switch boss to the bottom of the case half.

Enough to officially retire the bus.

It leaves a trail like the Torrey Canyon (all you younger members google is your friend), that's oil all over the bumper as well.
Next trip for the bus will be it's last, to the lock up and disassembly to be assimilated into the deluxe.

I've having a few issues with my rear light units for a while, and after almost having a couple of motorway incidents coming home from Ninove, I pulled my finger out and bought a pair of the Hella style rear light clusters sold by C&C.
Binned the shitty repro bits and fitted them tonight.
I think they did the trick.

I did notice a fair bit of my engine bay loom is looking it's age, might have to replace this at some point. No rush though. :|
Bloody hell, @fallingoffalot I bought these in 2017.

So, I didn't think stripping the old bus would be so emotional. Brought back all sorts of memories, both good and bad. Is it really only 14 years.

Anyway, Propex removed and will be recycled into the new Rapido.

You’ve bought another Rapido??
