Discovered the teeth on the fly wheel and starter are worn so gonna have to replace them.
On the upside clutch is brand new!

Yes that's good news !
To b truthful I paid a lot for this bus because I wonted a bus with no rot!
I was led to believe it didn't need much doing.
The previous owner def got board with the project. Nothing is finished off properly !
Nothing has been tightened properly just thrown together.
Admittedly a lot of money has been spent , respray , new engine , rubbers all round , poptop canvas , wiring loom , list goes on but nothing finished off.
Still , I've got a rust free bus and a really nice decent machanic to help me sort it !

Went to fit the new shocks today but they are different sizes.
The old westy ones seem to be narrower and the bolt won't reach all the way through the new ones grrr

Thanks trebor and resto
Resto that's an idear I'll have a look tomorrow and see if I can adjust the ones I have got

I don't have much time during the working week to get on with the bus.
Managed to find a few mins today so just got a couple of small jobs done.

One of the luggage rack bars needed fixing so got that sorted

Engine bay is now ready for a spray
Started masking up and got some sheets down
Annoyingly now waiting for the bloke who's spraying it for me to find a spare slot in his busy schedule !

Popped over to diss today to visit make my bay.
The owner , ady , said he had a fly wheel and starter he could provide me with so that's another couple of parts sorted.

We also had a chat about lowering and disc break conversion
