i'm getting near completion of the interior of my bus now and i'm looking for ideas for front seats. i currently have original but tatty seats in place, in a beige colour. i'm looking to keep the colour or possibly go chestnut brown like the interior panels.

i'm not decided between leather, vinyl or fabric ..... or a combination of two of those three. i'm looking for inspiration so if anyone has some front seat pics they can post, regardless of colour, i'd be grateful.

cheers.

My current porsche 924 seats, although considering changing these and going back to stock, although with the cost of stock seats might just get these re-furbished and re-covered

Hi!

I have read that Mx-5 seats have quite a shortness in the height area, so ideal for a tubbed bay....or just not as tall as other seats like saab or granada or something else.

My Saab seats are on their original runners which means you have all kinds of adjustment to get them back to the same height of stock. You can go forward and back, the back rest forward / back, the lumber support you can change and the most important to get it to stock height - you can change the seat pitch! Plus they are heated

I had a look at a pair of MX5 ones and they were low, but I just had this thing for cream leather.. :whip:

Oh, i like the idea of that very much - cream leather would be my choice too. How easy to fit, want to leave the og fixings in place to be honest....

And a thread wouldn't be complete without pictures! ;-)

Andyvan fitted them for me when my bus was getting re-sprayed.

They look simple enough to do though, the runners are attached to the seats which have x4 bolts ready to slot through the wheel tubs where you can just put a fat assed washer and nylock nut on the other end - thats it!

I can't get anymore pictures apart from the ones above right now as the bus isn't at my house :|
