I have an external oil cooler, non fan assisted, located in my spare battery tray area. I would like to put a leisure battery there so i need to move the cooler.

Where should this be fitted? It doesn't have a fan so needs constant draught.

mine is fan assisted, but if you havnt got a fan you could angle it and make a scoop to direct some air over it

SR It's your old red microbus. Do you remeber the one, was the cooler fitted when you imported it?

I had thought about fitting it underneath but i thought it may become a heat trap in city traffic. I'm concerned that if i go to far from the engine then i may not get the oil pressure needed.

mines full flowed, as its a big engine etc, you could probably do away with it on a standard 1600, seen some pics of yours(my old one  ), had some great patina, but looks really good with the repaint
