Can I ask how you all get your rear wheels off? Have you all got adjustable spring plates or is anyone adjusted just on splines.

Before spring plates it was a right ball ache, 2 splines down I had to take the shocks off and put a bar in the prise the plate down while wiggling the wheel out

I take it, bleed air out, ratchet strap to flatten tyre, remove.. Refit and have small 12v pump to re-inflate?

That's the one

if you think about it, the only time you have to take the rears off is for planned maintenance. I've never (touch wood) had a rear flatty (insert joke (and or) smart comment) nearly all classic insurance comes with breakdown, So if your mrs is ever alone driving the bus (1. why would you mrs ever be driving your bus alone?) joke. Get recovered in the case of a flat tyre.

then you can add point for, signing wavers and **** for the recovery taking no responsibility for damage due to lows. Drivers moaning about not getting on the truck etc

adjusty spring plates , and removing the rear hydro( same as a shock) pain in the arse but pretty simple after a few goes. tyre weld is the way as have no jack anyway.

Im 3 splines down at the back, with adjustable spring plates and undoing the bottom shock bolt can get the wheel and tyre off

Pete
