Is any one familiar with the lock mechanisums in the sliding door? My door shuts but the back edge is not compleatly flush and when I try to pull the handle up to draw it in the handle only goes halfway up and does not pull the rest of the door in. Iv dismanteled every part of it and put it all back together but can't find any obviouse faults

Mine used to do the same but now the handle had also stopped pulling the rear in. I just slam it harder now. Works fine

you may need to adjust it, does it close easily? I had to adjust mine at the roller ball at the top. it shuts like a dream now.

you could also try adjusting the catch plate on the c pillar. i did this on mine and all is fine, i have excellent body lines including the door.

had that with mine handle wouldn't go all the way up adjusted every thing on the door still wouldnt work so changed the front lock works fine now,i think there is a spring in side that broke,on the new one you could just see the end sticking out

i used to be quite smug as mine allways worked fine, mine has just stoped working so im now slaming it hard  dosent click when i pull it up like it did before so asuming something in the mech has broke off

Thanks for the replys guys, I have solved my problem after adjusting almost everything on the door and with the help of the haynes manual I found that the front striker plate was sitting too far back and solved it the easy way by putting in some more washers under it. Now the handle moves all the way up and the door is nice and flush. Had a nice sence of achievement after 3 hours of loosening and tightening screws and bolts
