Now i've finished getting the bay road worthy, i can start 'playing' with it. Fitted a roof canvas :D Next job 75amp alternator conversion, looking foward to removing dynamo and getting the alternator in without removing the engine :(
Anyone who's done it before will admit it's a bitch, but then i can have a thumping sound system

And the job for the winter...... Red 9 design 5 inch drop coil-over kit and adjustable spring plates at the back

Only thing is i've got 15 inch 356 rims wearing 195 65 R 15 tyres. Would any have an idea what tyres would be better, because mine are donuts as Grazy put it, he ain't wrong :?

I have to say i dont think i would even atempt at fitting the Alternator with the engine in, i would invest in a set of ratchet spanners, you will have the engine out in no time.

oh and potching is what its all about! I have an alternator to fit too :)

Like he says id never fit an alternator with the engine in. Far too much spanner rash, in fact ive got one on my knuckle just thinking about it.

Quickest I have done an alternator with the engine in, is an hour.

I rarely take the motor out to do the switch.
