Had a look on the serch but couldn't really see a lot, so you lot are probably sick of people asking but I've a week off and thought I 'd get a new exhaust once I've fitted the new shifter and spots.
Just want to know peoples opinions on any decent aftermarket system, stainless or anything.

Ground clearance is'nt an issue because it's not lowered.

Cheers

Perhaps there is enough time this week to get it lowered too

Going for standard or after market exhaust?

Have you any other engine mods?

What's your budget?

Ha, don't actually fancy lowering at the moment.
No mods at all, all bog standard engine.
Budget?, probably £350-400 mark.
Was thinking stainless steel.

I recommend Turbo Thomas as I have one although they are generally made to order. I have also heard good things about Bluebird as well.

I've had a Bluebird stainless header and single quiet pack on for about 3 years and am well happy with it.

I like it SOLD! :)

One question though, why is the exit pipe on opposite side to mine, just the design and does it matter?

I hope you realise that the "quiet" pack is probably the most mis named item you can buy for your bay.

I got one of these :D

Just to jump in on this thread, I have a few quick questions

Does stainless or ceramic give off less heat compaired with standard metal?
What size bore do most people go for with a no standard engine / twin carbs etc?

I have just fitted the Bluebird Stock Stainless and well impressed.

Whats it like for noise though? I fitted the quiet pack they list just above the "stock" and though the quality and fit was excellent, it was so loud I had to feather the throttle in town because it was so noisy and was in constant fear of being stopped by "les flics"

I agree, I've fitted a Mondo now

I have just fit a Vintage Speed exhaust, good build quality and a good fit,
