I've seen a very interesting thread like this on RestoWagen - some of the guys in the States have found handguns ( ), dope and much more besides!!!

;)

Didn't find anything in my bus apart from some loose change and a (smoked) spliff in the ashtray (it's still there!).

;)

Some photo's, a ymca pass, dimes, kids cars, sticky lolly and some canabis  in a baggy. Kept it all but have not tried the canabis yet

the po of my bus left lots of semi melted fuses (sugesting a rather suspect electrical system), sh#t loads of filler, and tons of bathroom sealer that it turned out was holding the bus together. however, whoever now owns my old beetle will probably be posting the same message on some beetle forum somewhere. my renovation skills wearnt up to much back then.

I found this in mine behind the wardrobe its a propper water colour with a randomly penciled in Bay on it
Which says "The Ghost of Pearl visits the country"
We framed it and then named the bus after it
Also found loads of loose change, tax bills and loads of evidence of skunk

I didnt find anything in mine but then it was only about 2 when I bought it I remember spending some time looking for the MOT certificate before I realised it didnt have one yet

i found lots of hippy trinkets and a picture of the POs dead granny who the bus was named after, we felt she should still be kept the same name for fear the old girl might come back to haunt us! spooky!

Hi!

Loads of dimes, one sat on the recess around the clocks, same place as when it came from California, so it's my lucky dime! Also founds 2 real old looking keyrings from Hotel El Dorado in Reno, some old fuses and stuff in the glovebox........

I was cleaning the blower slots out ,on the walk through bit .And found some opal fruit wrapers,a cardboard sally army badge and one of those old paper straws with blue and white twists on it :) but I have yet to find a key that fits any of the doors

I found the cigarette lighter end behind one of the seats!

My mate found lots of bullet shells and some needles in his ratty adventure wagon nice!
