Hi, anyone know what's going on here? I'm stripping the chassis and I've undone the bolts that hold this cover on where the clutch cable is attache at the front. however, it comes loose but I cant withdraw it completely, got maybe an inch play in it but It won't come free.feels like its caught on something! how would I change the clutch cable if this cover won't come off ?
first picture is with clutch operating lever up,secong one with it moved out of the way....

hi i changed mine today if the lever is at 9 o'clock when fitted then the crank bit on other side of plate is pointing at 12 0'clock so let the lever fall to 6 then the cranks should at 9 o'clock give it a wiggle then roll it out clockwise and it should come out

i take it is undun at gearbox end

well you never no ?

forgot say had to unbolt pedal from lever to allow it to drop
