Hey, i finally get my 72 tintop back from the bodyshop on saturday =), where its been for a complete makeover, welding, smoothing, respray, the lot. One problem, iv got a bare hole where a normal sized sunroof goes over the cab. Not sure if these were fitted from factory or not? When i baught it i had a canvas rollback on a frame, but its wrecked. Cant find anythink like it anywhere! Jus wondered what people have done with there sunroofs or if they know where i can get something for it at not a ridiculous price!

Thanx

i have a factory sunroof roof for sale in bits or as a whole. The steel slider is there and the gubbings gutters are good, but have a football sized hole at the rear of the roof....so must part out

search paris sunroof in google, you can get them made to size.and are a good quality roof, come it kit form.prob simaler to what was in there before by the sound of it.

Im pretty sure its not factory from your description. I thought factory sunroofs were further back? not over the driver in the cab? if you remember the late 70s 80s  sunroof fitting was all the rage before they became standard on most marques even budget. ...they must have got at your van?

have you got a pic? your only option maybe to find a donor section and weld it in or fit another sunroof.

Thanks for your help people, got my van back from the bodyshop today and iv managed to clean up, salvage and refit my sunroof for now just to keep the reain out and keep it secure. Still on the hunt for a replacement though. Im going to see if its water tight since i reffited it , if sothe frame should be could so i may take it to get the canvas recovered
