Seriously!

New job this week. First morning on Monday and my new boss then goes on leave telling me to 'crack on' ... the guy I replaced retired some months back. No IT for me until Wednesday ...

The guy who I took over from, now retired, came in yesterday for a handover. It all made sense and I was happy. I made a mental note though to move all his years of important documents off the desktops hard drive and onto the server for obvious reasons. Not one hour later the PC closed down and wouldnt reboot. Failed hard drive. You couldnt make it up. No, I hadnt moved all his work ...

Anyway, tomorrow is my daughters 8th birthday, and on Monday we go to Bulgaria for a week. 8)

Sounds pretty crazy. I went canoeing last weekend with 2 mates from Hereford to Symonds yat. Was great but got back late Monday night.....you know what its like trying to get back into work after a few days off.

Well..... The schools are off and that means so are all the teachers I train. So it hasn't been all that busy for me.

Clem, I know what you mean about computers though. Last year I was told I was to have a new computer and they "backed" everything up. When I got the new one all the short cuts were missing and they had erased a years worth of data. Thanks guys "IT" guys.

I've had 2 weeks off went away the first week, second just mouched about really did a few jobs on the Beetle as thinking of selling it but the weather hasn't helped :roll: I suppose I should've built a carport instead :lol:

Had a great week so far, poets day is always my fave though, just gotta console Mrs Ozziedog and get her fed and watered then sneak out to the garage when she aint looking :lol: Getting a bit excited now that the roof is starting to come together, can`t seem to make any headway on the compressor at the moment, I always get bogged down on ebay trying to work out what is real and what isn`t. I may actually have a lead on some of the materials I been after for my top secret super dooper pop top invention, but I shan`t say too much as I`d have to shoot you :roll: Sparky wig is coming over tomorrow to give me a bit of company and you never know how many visitors can turn up at my garage on a rainy day. I just bought some 2nd hand BRMs as well, someone is fetching them down for me from action (next weekend ??). So all in all a great week and now it`s the WEEKEND !!!!!!! Yeeee HAAAAA

Weeks been busy and generally full of stress :? - in London & Northampton (though did manage to pull into madmatz on the way past so not all bad) and still trying to catch up after a week off - though working from home today so been quite productive!

Easy week for me , down at Lobb Fields in North Devon, weathers been awful though for the last couple of days so hence checking the forum using tapatalk on my iPhone (great app for those wanting to check on the forum whilst away)

Another guy on here (Jim) is trying to get the steering box off Madonna and we got stuck. My mate borrowed mine and he`s on his hols :roll: :roll:

Nope, I don't possess a puller as I use all my mate's tools at his workshop. :lol:
But he's on holiday as well, so I can't borrow his.

Not a bad week, should have been working on that big deadline but ended up cruising by here and any other site looking at mods, extras and anything else that takes my eye.

Been a crap week, Been at work from 8 am till 10 pm today so been a long one.
My missus is having a "PM" angry day wich she has every month just before, well you know.
Least i know what i wont be getting for my Birthday on sunday .
Did get all my tinwear back from the shotblasters/powdercoaters today.

decent week at work, was enjoying my friday before a week off when i got a call from our head of HR, work are running a foundation degree course this year and i've made it in to the final assesment stage, but its being held on thursday next week!

if i don't go i'm immediately dropped as they won't be running anymore. thats my week away in the peak district completely interupted!!
