Sorry for the lack of updates
After a few setbacks, the bus is now back on the road. Even though the new motor hasn't been rolling roaded yet, it still runs awesome. The sound of the straight cut cam gears and Vintagespeed exhaust is amazing 8)
Here is the not so little beastie
Its a 2007cc stroker motor built by Dan Simpson at Vintagespeed UK. I highly recommend his engine building and tea making skills

. So the box was sent off to Cogbox for a full re-build.
It now has a 0.82 4th gear, steel shift forks, welded hubs on 3rd and 4th, aluminium heavy duty side cover, IRS heavy duty super diff with spider gears.
Karl at Wolfsburg Wizards has worked above and beyond with this install, as loads of other work has been done, such as new throttle and clutch cable, Butty's throttle kit (which is awesome), install oil temp gauge and Autometer monster tach and generally sorting the bus out so its good for a long time.
The speedo was also sent off to Tacho Thomas in Germany for repair and recalibration. Its well strange as now it reads fairly accurately after nearly 6 years of being miles out! I reckon I will need it to read accurately as I might be pushing the upper end of the speedo quite often!
Me looking well happy collecting the bus on Friday night after my first test drive....
.
The bus is now a little higher at the back as I adjusted the springplates today as the deep sump and exhaust were way too close to the road, and I like my bus to have a bit of rake in the stance department.
Rolling road session booked in for Thursday at BD Engineering in Sittingbourne, then its off to Big Bang on Friday.
I'll take some proper photos of the bus soon......
