Since I am two weeks into my new bay window addiction and still don't know enough about them I need some expert help.

What size tire and wheels can you stuff into a bay fender well?

I have 15" BRMs and also 15x6 Fuchs

But BRMs have 215-16R15s on the rear (big) and 145 fronts

Will these fit?

Whats the biggest rear wheel and tire combo you can fit without cutting anything of coarse?

Fuchs, what size combo should I look for?

Should I trade 2 of the 15x6 Fuchs for 2 14" Fuchs?

Any help would be great thanks in advance

Take a look here, lots of size's and how they look.

BRMs have a low ET number (11ish?) which will limit your tyre options (185 or narrower), the Fuchs will need adapters but you might squeeze a 195 on.

I had a bitch kitty of a time getting 195s in the rear of my bay. I dont know how anyone gets anything wider on an aftermarket wheel.

I had 205/45/17 on 7X17 boxster s wheels all round on mine no cutting around required ;)

It's all about the offset of the wheels, that determines your tyre size width.
