Urgent Engine Advice Needed....

Hi Guys,

I currently run a 1641cc in an '69 bay, with a 1600 Box, I need to take the engine out and sort some issues, I've got my hands on a Type 4 2.0L thats ready to go.

I need to know what I need to do/change for it to go into the bay?

I need to do the swap this weekend so any advice is greatly appreciated.

Stoooopid question but when you say engine mounts you mean the mounts the support bar bolts onto?

The 2.0L is only a loaner while I sort my 1641 out, altho if I like it I might make the guy an offer to keep it, and then the 1641 will be up for grabs...

yes mate for the support bar -i had the reverse problem with my truck

Engine bay surround will have to be cut about and engine bar will need modifying and probably chassis.A lot of messing if it's just a loner while 1641 is sorted
