Winter is coming  and I am after a cover for the bus . I will need one for a Pop Top , type van as i wanna keep the roofrack on while under cover .
All advice on which ones are good / bad as i know some dudes have had troubles with damage to paint etc .
Don`t mind a second hand one as long as it keeps rain sleet and snow and general shiity English winter out .

Thanks in advance peeps 8) 8) 8)

Remember seeing one that is basically a garage, but uses poles and
material instead - down side is the cost, think it was around £400, but
they have a good write up.

The ones that go over the van and touch the paint etc, do cause damage
over time so do bear that in mind!

Good look with the hunt. :D

You will struggle as i did in the past.

On my split i had a full length westy rack and wanted a cover to do the same. I bought a cover systems one from Bluebird. Top quality with straps to go under the van and a nice bag to store away in.

The cover was a light weight breathable fabric and would buy another tomorrow no probs. The only problem was that it was too short to cover the van with the rack on.

I then sent the cover back to cover systems who added 6" along the bottom so it would fit. From memory this cost about an extra £40 but was worth it.

You might thing it would have been cheaper to buy direct from cover systems at right size in the first place, but this option would have cost over £250 as it would have been a custom made cover.

Hope this helps.

Grazy - take a look at my damaged paint this weekend having had mine under a JK cover (yes that's you lot JK, I'm allowed to say it here!) for just a few months last winter. Apparently it is not an unknown problem but my van is staying out this year!

Igot a one from JK, my van is a westy with the spare wheel on the rear roof rack and the cover goes right down to the wheels covering all the van

fleece lined sounds good to me, mine was just the silvery fabric. Clearly as cheap as possible!

Autopod looks good, bit pricey but if you have spent lots on restoration
