Looking for an earlyish KG project to build up for my wires birthday next year, ideally looking for a small indicator model, so I think thats pre 69 but I'm sure someone will advise on whether I'm right or not.

Don't mind work but would like as original a body as possible, I know I'm asking it a lot but weighing up the cost of importing a shell/car from the US vs a car already here.

Anyone got anything lurking in their garage?

69 is the last small indicators G, 70 models have smaller units than 71 onwards but are starting to compromise at that point. 67 is the first 12v year and 68 get IRS and discs up front on a four stud wheel pattern.

e-bay.co now - '67 RHD 1500 /Red (Newmarket), it's a runner (full MOT) not a base 'project' , but it is unusually RHD for the lady..................JIM.

PS: last but one photo - engine lid does'nt seem to close flush?.

there is a LHD project on Volkszone £3500, looks pretty good but body of off floor pan. but no rust as US import, I'll see if i can find the link
