Hi

New to the forum and sorry to have to start with what is probably a really daft question!

We have recently bought a restored 1971 westy and have had a bit of a job getting him on the go! Fortunately he is now up and running ok ( I hope) and we are heading out in him tomorrow for our first decent day trip. Was just putting him away in the adage and I notice a " G" light has came on under the fuel gauge. Could someone please tell me what it means? I don't want to head out and breakdown in him again!!!

Cheers

Hi

Thanks for answering, yeah when you rev it light goes out ad when you stop I goes on again, only started doing it today.

Hey

Thanks for the info, have to admit not really the most handy when it comes to stuff like this, looks like I'm going to have to learn!

Is it ok to drive or am I likely to end up with a flat battery if I drive before sorting it?
Cheers

Having fiddled with it this morning, taken the battery in and out it appears to be ok. Battery was fully charged and seemed to be going up to about 14v when the engined speeded up which i think means its ok? Not sure if it was just a lose connection. Now when you switch the engine on the light goes on initially and then goes out - which i think is what its meant to do.

Thanks for the advice, at least know what to look for it it happens again
